Thiruvarangan is a third year PhD student in English. He holds a BA special degree in English from the University of Peradeniya and an MA in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His areas of interest include transnationalism and transnational literatures, post-Marxism, subalternity, world Englishes and English language teaching.
