Thinking about attending the upcoming English Student Association Conference, The Way of All Flesh, but not sure if you should? Consider this list of highlights:
-the skin art of Ari Richter (there will be a diorama that includes ethically sourced cat remains…don’t a lot of you like cats?)
-the work of a unique group of speakers (including a museum curator, the owner of a popular antiques store and star of a reality tv show, an author of popular history books, and a clinical anaplastologist)
-the scholarship of your peers at the GC: Alicia Andrzejewksi, Sydney Wagner, Bradley Nelson, Christina Katopodis, Livia Woods, and Amelia Greene
-the moderatorial stylings of your colleagues, peers, and teachers: Allen Strousse, Talia Shalev, Gerhard Joseph, Eric Lott, Alan Vardy, Nicola Masciandaro (Brooklyn College), and Miles Park Grier (Queens College)
We’ve been able to make more door tickets available for the Thursday night event, so please come by if you weren’t able to get tickets. There will be wine, Jason Tougaw, and a tour of the Museum’s current exhibit with its curator. What more could you want?
